A little background…
In 2006, our family was planning a hunting trip to South Africa and it was to be my daughters’ first big game
hunting experience. In preparation for the trip, I had two requirements that they had to fulfill before I was
going to let them hunt. The first was to pass a hunters safety course. The second was to become proficient
with a rifle. At the time, they were 12 and 15 years old and very different in size. The problem I encountered
was finding one rifle that would fit each of them. Because of cost and the fact that I didn't know if they would
have a continued interest in hunting and shooting, I didn't want to purchase two rifles. We’ve all seen it at the
range, haven’t we? Young kids learning to shoot with the butt stock of the rifle nestled securely underneath
their arm. We all know that isn’t the way anyone can learn to shoot properly! I’m sure you’ve also
experienced this problem at some time or another and I’ll bet you ended up doing what I did. You bought an
expensive rifle and you cut off the end of the butt stock, didn’t you? How did that make you feel taking a
perfectly good gun stock and cutting it? After cutting the butt stock and reattaching the factory recoil pad, I
found that it reasonably fit my youngest daughter and with an after market, slip-on pad over the butt end, it
reasonably fit my oldest daughter. In both cases, neither was a proper fit, but it would have to do.
Anyway, I figured that there had to be a better way to introduce and properly teach young kids how to shoot
properly and comfortably. So, after a few sleepless nights, my idea hit me. Now shooting and hunting are like
all the other hobbies out there. Their markets are full of new products. Some are ingenious and helpful and
some are ridiculous and a waste of money. Still, I figured that someone out there must offer a product similar
to what I had in mind. THEY DON'T. Would you believe that after several weeks of research, I found that not a
single company offered a product that matched my design idea. So, in the Fall of 2006, I decided that my idea
was worthy of development and I proceeded to create and ultimately patent the design that you’ll see within
the pages of this website.
My modular rifle stock design is unlike anything in the market today. It targets competitive shooters and
families who are recreational shooters and hunters, with an emphasis on making it comfortable, practical and,
most importantly, more affordable to introduce our nation’s youth to all that shooting and hunting have to
offer. Whether in the field or at the range, it's unique design allows shooters to adjust the stock to their
desired "length of pull" with quick and simple interchangeability of the butt stock segment and with it's
patented and built in recoil dampening system, felt recoil vibration will be reduced. All of this while still
maintaining the look and feel of a traditional sporting rifle stock. In addition, it can also be utilized in one and
two piece stock platforms for all types of rifles and shotguns.
The number one problem kids’ encounter while shooting is getting a proper "stock to shoulder" fit. Full sized
gun stocks are just too long for them to achieve this. Having a full sized sporting stock on one rifle that can
be adjusted throughout phases of growth or adjusted for different family members is much more universal
and cost effective. Sure, some companies offer "youth" stocks, but they’re no good after a person isn't a
youth anymore. A stock that will fit a person when they’re a child and an adult is a true cost advantage for
people in a sport that's becoming increasingly costly every day.
Firearm and stock manufacturers think that if a family buys a youth sized rifle or shotgun for their child and
their child gets hooked on shooting and hunting, they will likely buy a full sized gun when they’re older. It
makes good business sense because it’s another sale. There is a problem, however, with that business model.
Statistics show that for many reasons (cost, availability of land, cheaper hobbies available, etc.), fewer
people, particularly kids, are entering into the shooting sports. Who's going to buy firearms and related
products 5, 10, 20 years from now if the economy is still in the toilet, there are fewer people entering the
sport and more kids/families are being priced out of the shooting sports?
Industry leaders need to think about how they're going to help ensure the future affordability of our shooting
sports. Is there a company out there who’s willing take the lead on this effort? There will always be those
that can own a safe full of guns (even that number is shrinking), but what about those people who can’t?
People are either not being introduced into these sports at all or are losing interest because of cost. The
average "Joe" is being priced out of shooting and hunting and as a father of two daughters who love to shoot
and hunt, I'm very concerned about their future ability to afford this hobby.
I hope you enjoy my website and while you're reading it, I'd like you to think of a couple of things. Did you
know that the number of people enjoying our shooting and hunting sports is dwindling each and every day?
How do we replace those people that we lose? Do you want to be a part of impacting the security of our
hunting and shooting sports? The only way to do it is to introduce our kids to shooting and hunting at an
early age and make it easier, more comfortable and more enjoyable for them to learn how to shoot properly
with a rifle or shotgun that fits.
Our kids are the future of our hunting and shooting sports!
Be safe and have fun!

Welcome and thanks for visiting my website!
My name is Chris Henretty and I am a shooting and hunting enthusiast as well as the father of two novice
hunters. Introducing my daughters to the sports of shooting and hunting led me to design a unique modular
and adjustable gun stock that, on June 17, 2008, was granted patent number 7,386,952 from the U.S. Patent
and Trademark Office. Within this website, you will learn about the most unique and innovative gun stock
design that has come along in years and I
